Let’s get straight to the ‘nub’ of this…you either LOVE GoreGrind and PornoGrind … or you absolutely HATE it with a vengeance…there is never an inbetween. I, sadly as a man of zero taste or sense of moral rectitude…LOVE it! However, there are two distinct sides to said extremely limited genre, technically and cleverly humorous, or technically sloppy and repugnantly gross…guess which this is?
This band farted their way out of their Russian ‘womb’ eleven blood-soaked years ago, and have been persistently musically and lyrically offending anybody and everybody ever since! Hailing from the amusingly misnamed city of Perm (Volga region) of said vast country, this band of puss addicted, scab covered, sore infested maniacs have been spreading their sordid wares to whoever is sick enough to fester in their crepitating putrescence all across Europe.
I have no idea how many albums have been defecated out by them before now, but this latest cadaverous abomination is probably no different to the one that preceded it or to the one that will doubtless follow in its slimy trail. I guess its okay, the vocals are typically gangrenous, vomited forth with spewed guttural virulence, and musically its not the worst thing I’ve ever been subjected to…BUT it fails to stand out from the mutated crowd around it…in a circus of horrors it would barely garner a second glance. Lyrically its all standard fare… titles such as “Post Mortal Hymenoplastic (Virginity Restoration)”, “Corp(se)oration Of Gluttony”, and “Mental Personality Disorder” show the band browsing from the Carcass/General Surgery ‘already used’ section of the library…ho-hum.
Now the latest by CLITEATER on the other hand… mmmmmmm!
