Describing themselves’ as hateful anti-Christian thrash, you know this could be the sweet antidote to all the devout that have permeated these pages of late and it sure is nice to get something more hell-banging than bible-bashing! This is the third full length from these Poles though at only 35 minutes in length it’s debatable whether it can be considered as such, though these eight tracks are short and snappy and if you’re not especially gifted with the attention span of a saint then it’s pretty much a safe bet you will like this.

This goes from 0-60 in under five seconds and delivers a frenetic and frenzied assault that shows no mercy whatsoever. ‘March With The Dead’ doesn’t so much march as it does charge full speed ahead with a Desaster-ous feel to it. There are some nifty guitar solos to be found here which cut like razor-wire, and continue into the next track, ‘Towards Hellfire.’ This one slows things down a bit with an atmospheric opening passage, which is soon sliced into as all hell is unleashed! The drums on this one especially are fierce and without mercy, while the callous guitars lend to the chaos. There are no convolutions here, just pure aggression and if blackened thrash is your thing you will dig this like a grave. The classic thrash spirit is well and truly present and at times there’s a hint of Testament or Kreator to be found in the fast and furious guitar work and free-spirited soloing. ‘Congregation Of Sin’ is one example of this with its old school thrash riffs that really get the neck muscles going. There’s nothing clean about this at all and as far as thrash goes it is as mean and unclean as homeless ex-squaddie. Certainly there’s a repressed feel to the production that makes the guitars sound nasty as hell.

The vocals are delivered in a truly callous, hate-filled snarl that fits the music well. This is all very reliable in a sense that from the moment your ears snap onto it you know what you’re in for; there are no surprises as such and while it’s not breaking any boundaries it is a solid release packed full of aggression and hate-fuelled energy that sometimes you just can’t help but crave. These are not quite rival to the likes of Aura Noir or Destroyer666, but it will no doubt satisfy your black-thrash thirst!
