This legendary German band just keep on going, rather than cynical thoughts to the album title, the actual result inspires you to reckon that this is far from their final curtain call. Sinner has had a little development in their arsenal with each album over the last 13 years or so, this new effort is no different. The opening track ‘The One You Left behind’ is classic Sinner, but I am surprised by the similarities to one Mr Phil Lynott vocally during the verse to ‘Back on Trail’. The inspiration and popularity of Euro Metal countrymen like Edguy (without the usual derogatory references) and recent Helloween feature to good effect, just listen too ’10 2 Death’, hopefully you will hear this reference.

Ok one thing is clear, Sinner are not going to change much for anyone, who would want them too, what they do, they do extremely well, and this new line up seems to have brought out further classic rock and metal influences. Matt Sinner produced the album himself this time, so what better way to feature your music to the public than the creator of the band himself. Showing no signs of disgrace, ‘One Bullet Left’ is uplifting, precise, and lyrically sound, it is traditional heavy metal.
